All PowerMate stair climbers manufactured with a serial number 50000+ will be supplied with a Lithium Ion battery pack, as standard.
New battery chargers will work on all PowerMate machines, old and new (part# 400211).
Old chargers are only compatible with serial numbers 49999 and less not, new machine models.
To install a Lithium Ion Battery pack in a PowerMate with a serial number < 49999 you would also need to replace the solid state controller (part# 052815) and battery charger.
