Be Prepared—Take on the Fall Heating Season with a Stair Climber

Posted by Contributing Editor on Fri, Sep 14, 2012

Now that fall is upon us, it’s time for heating season to pick up. As temperatures drop, powermate 2 everyone is turning on their furnaces for the first time in months and realizing they have an issue. Since inquiries and fall promotions are high, it is key time for boilers and heaters to be updated and moved in residential, industrial, and commercial facilities. That’s why it’s a great time to attend the ComfortTech trade show for the plumbing and heating industries. We will certainly be there (in booth #1238!), showing off some of our most popular PowerMate hand trucks, which are used to move these boilers and heaters.

What products will we be showing off? Specifically, three different models: L-1, LE-1, and M-1. What do we want to emphasize? Our products allow you to move the boilers in one piece—instead of torching them into smaller pieces—so that the risk of damaging houses is removed, and it cuts down on the time and manpower needed to move the boilers. Are the trucks only used for the removal of boilers? No, our products can also be used to safely bring in new boilers and other hydronic equipment as well. Our M-1 model in particular allows us to move boilers up to a maximum weight of 1,500 lbs (when cast iron boilers typically weigh 600-1,100 lbs) and can fully lift any boilers or heaters you need moved. Additionally, we will be showcasing some of our lifting accessories, such as our step extension and pivot pads and other value-added attachments. These accessories allow contractors to temporarily increase the sizes of landings so that the turning of loads is much easier.

Would you like to see some of these PowerMate handtrucks in action? We want to ensure you that we have moved these loads ourselves and we have manufactured products that will ease your moving pains. Save time, money, and backs with PowerMate. Make sure to visit our booth—we look forward to seeing you!
