The effort to move loads up stairs can then be greatly reduced with almost zero weight on the hand grips. The LE-1 also comes standard with hand operated wheel brakes which means the unit cannot roll forward unless you release the brake. The other distinct advantage is the stacker feature of the dual drive screw design. The LE-1 has the ability to raise the load and place it on a raised surface.
